吴万庆 1947年生，自幼喜书画，对中西美术广为涉猎，后潜心中国画，创作多能，尤擅长山水、人物、马、牛等题材。 十分注重情调与意境的表现，画风清逸俊朗，雄秀均具。 作品曾参加全国工艺美术展和省内外各级美展、联展，赴多个国家展出。发表于多种画集、报刊，为数家文博单位收藏。作品收入《四川六人书画作品选》，《八面生风》和由四川省文物总店出版的《特约书画家作品介绍》，《特约书画家作品选》，《特约书画家作品集》中。 现为中国工艺美术家学会会员，四川省工艺美术学会理事，四川省美术家协会会员，四川省警察书画院特聘画家，四川省文物总店特约书画家。 Wu Wan-Qing, industrial art painter, was born ion 1947. He liked calligraphy and painting when he was young. He learned painting from Mr. Wu Shou-Mei, famous painter in China. He mixed traditional Chinese painting skills with western painting techniques. He is good at mountain-water and figure painting. He is a member of the Industrial Art Association of China, a member of the Painters‘ Association of Sichuan, a standing member of the Calligraphy and Painting Commission of the Industrial Art Association of Sichuan, the director of the Research Society of Bashu Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting of the Cultural and Historical Research Academy of Sichuan, member of the Calligraphers‘ and Painters‘ Association of Chengdu, and a painter of the Political Consultative Calligraphy and Painting Academy of Chengdu. He often organizes mountain-water, flower-bird and figure in his paintings. He portrays empathetically one of these components in according to creative intention. All his uses of color, ink, water are made around the purport. His paintings have been not only taken part in the national and provincial exhibition but also displayed in America, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Hongkong for many times.
